This is the most brilliant, and brilliantly simple explanation. I have to say that all along, my intuition was right on the money. Even though I know squat about how the economy really works, I could tell by all the telemarketing calls that there must be big bucks in refinancing. I watched Countrywide sell my mortgage to another company, and I guessed right that post 9/11, something was done to tickle the housing market - it's the only thing we really manufacture in this country besides " marketing." Now if we could only learn how to market intelligent conversation instead of bullshit, we'd be shamokin!.
